Not only is the World’s Coolest Rain Gauge the most accurate and easy to read one on the market, it’s also tough. Our original gauge came with a plastic water collector that developed a crack. When people see the gauge they ask about it because it is unique (probably why it works so well) and just looks nice.

As soon as I got the rain gauge I put it out next to my flower bed, spring flowers now, and we got rain!! We had been in a drought for 5 weeks and got rain. I checked it first thing in the morning, thrilled to see the 1” line. It’s so easy to read and the copper part slides right out of the holder so I could empty it. We got rain again and I got to check it with just under an inch. A quick note: Last summer we received a total of 3” for the entire summer. This winter we received a good snow during President Day, but nothing after. I’m hoping this copper rain gauge is a good luck charm too!

We’ve had this rain gauge for over 10, maybe 13 years… maybe more. Anyway, it has always been more accurate than the local news! I love it, and am happy to be able to replace the insides for more enjoyment!!!
We ordered the steel clamp mount only but discovered we need to purchase the copper rain gauge too. Should have ordered the complete set. We were incorrect to think we could place another manufactured gauge in the mount.
We ultimately returned and had no problem with that at all. Will likely reorder the complete set soon.

When our new rain gauge didn’t work properly, I emailed World’s Coolest Rain Gauge explaining the problem. They immediately diagnosed the problem and sent us a new tube. That solved the problem with no hassle.
I ordered this a few weeks ago and still have not received it. I understand that the post office is a union work place and they are slow it was shipped on January 27th and still hasn't made it pick a new shipping company there is a reason the US postal service has been bankrupt since its inception another government entity that needs to be canned.
