Replacing the foam in the Floating Rain Gauge Tubes
I followed the YouTube procedure to replace the foam insert and it went perfectly. The plastic tube was easy to clean, as what the copper rain section. The glue worked well and, as explained, it was important to move fast and to spread a generous amount of glue on the foam. During the rainy months we have great fun measuring total rainfalls at our home in Portland, Oregon. In the summer months we use it to measure the amount of water from our sprinklers. Thank you for the great product.
I think it’s so nice not to have to worry, if it’s gonna freeze while it’s out and you have to get out and go get it in. It’s just nice not to have to to worry about it.
