Steel and plastic components are covered by a five-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Every World's Coolest Rain Gauge® is made from durable materials selected specifically for long-term outdoor use.

The collection flute is crafted from solid copper that will never rust. The holder is made from heavy-duty 1/4" round steel manufactured in Chicago and protected with a durable powder-coated finish. The measuring tube is made from polycarbonate, an exceptionally tough material commonly used in motorcycle windshields, safety shields, and other demanding applications.

These materials have been chosen not only for their durability, but also for their ability to withstand years of exposure to sun, rain, snow, and changing seasons.

While no outdoor product is indestructible, thousands of our gauges have provided reliable service in gardens, farms, parks, and backyards across North America for many years.

What Is Not Covered

Like any outdoor product, normal weathering, accidental damage, animal damage, misuse, neglect, or damage caused by lawn equipment and other external factors are not covered under warranty.

That said, if something doesn't seem right, please reach out. I've always tried to treat customers fairly and stand behind what I make.

Replacement parts are available for every component of the gauge, allowing many damaged units to be repaired rather than replaced.

Due to the growing number of counterfeit floating rain gauges now being sold online, I may occasionally ask for proof of purchase or photographs before providing warranty service or replacement parts.

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee, repair, or provide warranty coverage for products that I did not manufacture.

Some imitation gauges use photos, trademarks, and designs that closely resemble mine, but the materials, construction, and overall quality are often very different.
