Resin tube doesn't survive freezing when full.

We were away while a heavy rain was followed by hard freeze in Maryland. Leaks ensued. Does the copper tube survive this? I suppose even it may split after multiple freezes? Tough problem. Wrap with heater tape?

Hello! We do recommend that the resin gauges come inside unless you're very vigilant about emptying it after every rain event. Our copper gauges can stay out in any climate.

Forgot a piece

Ordered the plastic tube but forgot the bronze portion.
Went back online and ordered it. Promptly filled and I am ready for the rain! Highly recommend!

Left out in the freezing weather

My son forgot to bring his rain gauge in over the winter and when the big freeze came, it cracked. So thanks for providing parts for your rain gauges and thanks also for the free shipping! We love our rain gauges!
