Improved over old tube in larger letters
Asheville's about to exceed its average annual rainfall of 40" by about 50% for 2020. How do I know this? Why the World's Coolest Rain Gauge tells me so.
I’ve had my rain gauge about 3 years now. The plastic tube inside the gauge wouldn’t move. I could never tell how much rain we’d gotten so that I didn’t overwater with the sprinklers. The new tube slides up and down much easier now. In fact, I bought a backup tube! Big numbers and easy to read!!
Five Stars for sure. My original rain gauge was given to me by my father about 20 years ago. The foam became deteriorated and numbers starting to wear off, so I tried to replace the foam with styrofoam without success. Decided to see what I could find on line, and much to my surprise, I found your website and learned there are replacement parts available. ( I searched for "copper rain gauge".) Replacement tube is now in place better than the original. Unfortunately, freezing weather is now here in Michigan, so the gage is stored inside until spring, to avoid damage from freezing. Replacement tube came a week after ordering. I always support "Made in the U.S.A" products when I can find them.
Wonderful product and good replacement parts and quick service!
